When I’m not running this blog, co-running a household, running the trails or running after my dogs, I run Sabra Morris Media, a full-time freelance-writing business.

I specialize in lifestyle writing for editorial and custom-publishing magazines and Web sites. My work spans a variety of topics including health and fitness, family life, local trends, fashion, ecofriendly living, food, home décor and remodeling, pets, alternative energy for homes and businesses, business profiles and farm equipment. (Yep, you read that last one right.) I also offer turnkey management services for custom-publishing projects.

I’ve been a working journalist for the past ten years and have donned wrier and editor hats interchangeably.

I’ve told the stories of local business owners in Southern Living magazine, developed recipes for Kroger Foods and served as Editor-in-Chief of Hawaii Home + Remodeling magazine. I’ve written in-depth buyer’s guides to wood flooring, covered the nation’s sweatiest cities, discovered the health benefits of cuddling dogs and the economic and environmental benefits of running one of the country’s largest solar dairy farms. And that’s just the beginning.
